We offers full-day outdoor education programs, with two options: “Forest Friends” and “Water Keepers”. Both programs aim to promote environmental literacy, social and emotional growth through experiential learning. They are designed with links to the BC Curriculum for Grades 3 in Science and Social Science.

Watershed Canoe Tour

This guided tour explores past, present and emerging stories of the Comox Lake Watershed. Deepen your connection to this beautiful lake while paddling in a voyageur canoe.

This program is suitable for families with young children (although children will be required to remain seated). Please pre-register for this program.

Kids Park Ranger Program

This free nature-based program for kids and families aims to create meaningful connections between young people and their natural environment. The program fosters the next generation of stewards through art, play, education and observation.

The program is suitable for drop-off (6 and over) and happens most afternoons. Please pre-register for this program.

Movie Nights at Lake Park

Movie Nights

Family friendly movie nights will take place Saturday nights at 7pm, from May long weekend to Sept long weekend (weather dependent). Bring a blanket or chair and make yourself comfortable. It’s free, fun and no pre-registration is required.

Live music will be playing every Friday night at the main beach from May long weekend to Sep long weekend, starting at 7pm. Bring a blanket or chair, grab some dinner from the concession (closes at 7pm) and take in the show while the sun sets on the lake.

Big Canoe Skipper Course

Big Canoe Skipper Course

Learn to lead a big canoe with a novice crew on flat water. This is a Paddle Canada Intermediate Big Canoe Leader Skills course. It provides an introduction to big canoes for paddlers who have a basic knowledge of canoe strokes. Offered in partnership with Ridge Wilderness Adventures.
